Experiment

Sometimes my 11 year old sister and me will be joking around and she hit me and ill hit her back. Sometimes she gets a Little to into it so whenever mydog Zeik is in the room i will say "get her" and he will go after her and then she will stop. Eventually she caught on and stopped touching me all together. The only time she will hit me is if i do it first. Whenever zeik is in the room she wont even go near me.

Behavior: My sister kept hitting me
consequence: She got tackled by my dog
Sense Used: Hearing Zeik bark, Seeing Zeik run at her, Feeling Zeik
environment: My house with Zeik in the same room

p.s....shes my sister

Identity

I chose to write about Nicki. She is my best friend and without her i would probably sit home a lot more. We know pretty much everything about each other and went through the awkward stages of growing up and finding out who we are together. Without her i don't think i would exactly be the same person that i am now. Just like in the video you could see that Jamie has an awkward tendency about herself and she just wasn't comfortable and i think i would be the exact same way if i did not have a best friend right there beside me to tell me they feel the same way. Jamie didn't seem to have that one best friend.
We do pretty much everything together. Over the summer we hung out every single day and decided what to do even if it was to stay at her house till three in the morning playing guitar hero. Now that we have cars sometimes just to waste time we will drive around and just get lost, just talking. Even though we may not do the most exciting things together we still manage to have fun just doing nothing and we can entertain each other. I think its because we get along so well together.
If Nicki ever moved to Alaska and there was no cell phone coverage i would probably be devastated. I mean you cant really just take a major factor of your life out just like that. I would try to find a way to do as many visits a year as possible and email and my space. It wouldn't be the same, i don't know what i would do with out my best friend but i would find a way to make sure we always stayed friends.

My new experiment that I have decided to create involves the subject being my dad. Though he's an adult he has the disgusting habit of picking his nose at night in the living room while watching television. In this experiment my environment will be my living room from the times of 8-10 p.m. while my dad is sitting on the couch watching television. The behavior that I want to increase or make stronger is his ability not to pick his nose and weaken/ or make less frequent of him picking his nose in this environment. The consequence in this experiment will be every time that he does go to pick his nose I will proceed to throw a pillow across the room at him (preferably at his head). This will hopefully induce a negative reaction on my dad making him realize that picking his nose is a bad and inappropriate thing. With this experiment, like many others there is room for error. Some example of error or flaw in this experiment include him picking his nose will I'm not in the room to through a pillow at his head, along with the fact that though he might stop picking his nose in this specific environment what's to say that he does not pick up this behavior in a different environment.
